PXC Wins HR, People & Culture Team of the Year at Channel Champions

An innovative flexibility programme and AI integrated goal setting for performance set the bar high for team PXC.

We’re incredibly proud to share that PXC has been named Vendor HR, People & Culture Team of the Year at the 2025 Channel Champions Awards!

This recognition is a powerful endorsement of the work our People Team has done over the past 12 months to build a human, and high-performing workplace, especially during a year of significant change.

So, what set us apart?

Our people did, actually.

I’m proud to say that our culture is shaped by every voice in the room. Our Life at PXC programme is a direct result of listening deeply to our people, acting on their feedback, and staying committed to creating a workplace culture where everyone feels seen, heard, recognised and valued.” said Chief People Officer, Aphra Brooks-Barnes.

Built around the pillars of culture, development and reward, Life at PXC was created as a direct response to employee feedback and designed to help our colleagues maximise their potential.

Here’s what it entailed:

Flexibility with purpose: Our PXC Flex programme gives employees 30 additional hours annually for personal time, on top of annual leave and volunteering days. Combined with our hybrid in-person model, it’s helped us foster a healthier, more balanced work environment.

Enabling Excellence with AI: We launched Goalie, an in-house AI bot that helps us set and track goals aligned to wider business strategy. With 80% adoption in just two weeks, Goalie’s impact has been immediate.

Contribution-based reward: Our new performance-based reward model ensures staff are recognised not just for what they do, but how they contribute to our company’s future strategy.

Mental wellbeing and support: Through MyndUp, every PXC employee has access to mental health professionals and educational content, while managers are supported with training to navigate change and morale.

These efforts earned us “One to Watch” status in the Best Companies Survey and helped us score 2% above the industry average for employee wellbeing.

Winning this award caps off a really transformative year. We’ve gone from under 2% of colleagues setting goals in Workday to over 90%, and Goalie has sparked more than 1,200 goal-focused conversations across PXC.” said Allan Mole, Learning and Development Business Partner. “What we’ve achieved has only been possible thanks to business wide collaboration, with support from every single function.”

The Channel Champions award for HR, People and Culture Team has been a terrific industry recognition of our belief that people really are the driving force behind a successful strategy.

Congratulations to our fantastic People Team! And yes, that includes you Goalie.
