PXC Unveils Major Upgrades to 1Portal, Redefining Speed and Simplicity for Wholesale Connectivity

PXC has announced a major upgrade to 1Portal, a future-ready platform designed to simplify service delivery and significantly reduce time to market for partners. The enhancements allow partners to more easily order and manage Broadband and Single Line Voice solutions, adding to the platform’s existing portfolio of Ethernet, Voice, Cloud and Security services.

With the enhancements, 1Portal is now a single, fully automated platform for PXC’s entire offering, eliminating the need to manage multiple systems or providers. Built to support growing and evolving customer demands, the upgrade introduces new products, expanded network choice and improved functionality across the entire service lifecycle with added interoperability with PXC's APIs. Users can check availability, place and manage orders, track progress in near real time, view existing assets, and manage provisioning and escalation cases – all within one platform.

The upgraded 1Portal also expands access to leading networks, including Openreach FTTP and SOGEA, and CityFibre FTTP. Community Fibre and Freedom Fibre integrations are already in development, along with further Alt Nets, and key features such as Prove Telecare to protect and support vulnerable customers

At the core of the upgrade is PXC’s focus on end-to-end automation. Fully self-serve journeys replace manual ticketing processes, enabling faster order progression and updates within minutes rather than days. Currently, 96% of FTTP orders are zero-touch – with the automation not only shortening time to provide but also helping to reduce order fallout and cancellations.

Further enhancements are already on the roadmap, including new automated assurance processes and advanced Diagnostics capabilities, reinforcing PXC’s commitment to continuous platform innovation.
