PXC’s Night of Ambition 2026 Raises £339k for Ambitious About Autism
PXC has raised £339k at the 17th edition of its annual Night of Ambition fundraising gala for Ambitious about Autism, a charity that provides education, support and advocacy for autistic children and young people. Since taking ownership of the event from TalkTalk Group in 2024, PXC has helped raise over £1million for the charity through its Night of Ambition galas.
Held at the prestigious Peninsula Hotel in London this year, the event brought together leaders from across the technology and communications sectors to support the charity’s important work. The gala was delivered in partnership with Headline Sponsor CGI for the third year running, and supported by Tech Mahindra, MDS Global, Openreach and Virgin Media Business Wholesale.
This year’s event raised funds for Ambitious’ Supported Internships programme, which provides autistic young people with 12‑month work placements, job coaching, and specialist support to help them build employment skills and gain greater independence. In previous years, the event has supported the charity’s Assistive Technology programme, which provides essential tools such as speech‑generating devices, tablets, and visual or audio aids, as well as other initiatives that empower autistic young people to pursue their goals.
Commenting on the night, James Smith, CEO of PXC, said:
“We are incredibly proud of the continued success of Night of Ambition. Each year, our community comes together to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with autism. The generosity shown at this year’s event ensures that even more children will have access to Ambitious About Autism’s transformative education and support.”
Jolanta Lasota, Chief Executive of Ambitious about Autism, said:
“Autistic young people have the same dreams as other young people – they want to get an education; find a job they enjoy and make a meaningful contribution. But sadly, their hopes of achieving their ambitions are critically limited compared to other young people.
“Our Supported Internships programme has and is continuing to change lives, enabling autistic young people to develop their skills and confidence in supportive, consistent, and flexible environments. Through this programme, young people realise their ambitions and discover confidence they never knew they had.
“We continue our mission thanks to the continued generosity and support of our long-standing partner PXC. We also give thanks to our wonderful sponsors and our brilliant host for making this year’s Night of Ambition another resounding success.”
Tara McGeehan, President, CGI UK & Australia, said:
“CGI is delighted to support Night of Ambition as the Platinum Sponsor for the third consecutive year. We value our partnership with PXC and Ambitious about Autism, and the insights we gain from collaborations that help us think differently about how technology can support inclusive outcomes. We are committed to supporting organisations with specialist expertise and a strong understanding of the needs of young autistic people, building inclusion through meaningful collaboration and listening with care and intent.”
