PXC launches Trooli Residential FTTP, expanding full-fibre reach across rural and semi-rural UK communities

PXC has announced the launch of Trooli Residential FTTP, enabling access to more than 477,000 homes across Trooli’s predominantly rural and semi-rural footprint, to PXC’s Residential Partners. This launch further strengthens PXC’s Alt Net portfolio, providing partners with even more choice of full-fibre products, for more end customers.

Trooli Residential FTTP is purpose-built to meet the requirements of modern digital lifestyles, offering symmetrical speed profiles up to 1 Gbps at launch. Partners can choose between Wholesale Layer 3 broadband, with dynamic or static IP option, or Wholesale Layer 2 broadband – available via PXC’s scale broadband APIs.

Trooli delivers high-performance, symmetrical FTTP broadband services over an XGS-PON fibre network spanning eleven counties spread across Southwest England, Southeast England, East Anglia and three counties in Scotland.

This partnership delivers operational simplicity for partners, with the ability to access Trooli through PXC with a single integration and set of service levels. Partners benefit from PXC’s established ordering, assurance, billing and change-management journeys, and 5-day standard installations to meet customer demands faster. For service providers, this also means a broader choice of full-fibre supply where incumbent infrastructure may be congested or commercially less viable, helping them remain competitive while delivering an improved customer experience.

Jenny Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer at PXC, said:

“We’re delighted to partner with Trooli, whose strong presence in rural and semi-rural areas means we’ll be able to deliver even more full-fibre choice for our partners, in more communities. A lot of work has gone into our integration to ensure that we’re simplifying access to the best connectivity in regions that were previously underserved, helping to close the digital divide.”

Andy Conibere, Chief Executive Officer at Trooli, said:

“Partnering with PXC has been an exciting journey for both parties. We recognise that end customers want to subscribe to an ISP that best meets their diverse needs, whilst being confident their fixed fibre broadband service is being delivered over a reliable, quality network, that is commercially attractive. The PXC and Trooli partnership enables many ISPs easy access to Trooli’s fibre network, which is a win-win for all. We have been impressed by the collaborative approach from PXC, which has enabled us to launch faster and more efficiently than many would have thought possible.”
