FutureConnect 2024 - That's A Wrap!

All the highlights from our exciting partner event, FutureConnect 2024 held on April 25th.

Last week, around 400 of our partners and associates joined us in Leicester Square for our annual partner event – FutureConnect 2024. For most of them, it was the first in-person experience of PXC and our new brand. Without sounding too smug, we’d like to say that it was a success!

Here’s why:

The Venue

FutureConnect 2024 was held in the iconic ODEON Luxe Leicester Square, which was all lit up with our new branding. The glamourous Central London venue deserved a red carpet, and that’s exactly what we rolled out for our amazing partners. (We even got a few questions from strangers asking if there was a premiere happening!)

The Speakers

Neil Wilson – our Chief Product and Marketing Officer shared PXC’s strategy and upcoming roadmap for the next 5 years with our partners. This ensured that we were all on the same page, and partners knew exactly what to expect from partnering with us.

The star speaker of the afternoon (based on feedback from all our attendees) was Keren Elazari who calls herself the Friendly Hacker. She introduced a whole new world of targeted cybersecurity threats and left the audience quite shocked and amazed.

We also heard from Simon Holden, Group CEO of CityFibre about their AltNet aggregation plans and goals for the coming years. Magnus Falk, CIO Advisor at Zoom introduced the crowd to the ethos behind Zoom’s existing and exciting upcoming products, while Gaidar Magdanurov, CEO of Acronis presented the need for preventative cybersecurity, and how AI can bolster protection systems.

The final session of the evening was a discussion on the need for sustainability, and a movement towards Net Zero in the telecom sector. Our Head of Sustainability and ESG, Will Ennett led the discussion with Camilla Karm of the B-crop certified Redsquid, and Dave Rogers, CEO of Planet Telecom – as they took the audience through the steps we can all take towards making greener decisions and reducing the impact of our industry.

The Awards

It wouldn’t be FutureConnect if we weren’t also celebrating our partners’ fantastic achievements. The winners this year were:

  • Most Innovative Deal - Charterhouse Group

  • Biggest End User Deal – Kerv Connect

  • Partners of the Year (categorized by business size) - Wave9 Managed Services Limited, Spitfire Network Services Ltd and Gamma

  • Fastest Growing SDWAN Partner – Intercity Technology Limited

We ended the day on a high note, with a networking session for our partners to create new connections and meet our speakers and other friends from the industry. We'd like to thank our amazing sponsors Acronis, CityFibre, ITS, MS3 Networks, Virgin Media Business, and Zoom for helping to make the event a success.

We loved hosting everyone at FutureConnect 2024, and we’re already gearing up to make it even better next year. See you there!
